Just the facts...

I'm getting to be quite the technophobic curmudgeon in my "old" age. I'm adamantly anti-blackberry (or similar device); I think cell phones should be used for phone calls, time, the occasional text message, setting reminders, and calculator functions.

I've just about had enough "social networking" online. My Facebook gets checked when I get an email notification or once in a blue moon. I consider it useful for making connections with long-lost buds and seeing pics. I've used the Notes feature when I was bored enough to fill out surveys and occasionally browse the status updates, but that reminds me too much of Twitter. I used Twitter for about 3 months before deciding it was a monumental waste of time. As are all the games and applications on Facebook.

In an age where people are chronically busy and claim to have no time...they seem to be finding an awful lot of time to play on these sites. *eye roll*

Oh well...one person's trash is another one's treasure. Or procrastination tool.
