It's April. Wow...this year is flying by. At least I can say I've been productive. At home we have 2 new "rooms" painted, new kitchen hardware, new closet doors, and the landscaping is scheduled.
I think it's a good time to reevaluate my goals and priorities.
I need to step up the work outs and cut back on my eating a little bit. I need to make more time for reading and make more of an effort to start my projects (photo scanning, video conversions, and CD ripping).
It seems like every time I finally have a minute to do one of my projects I'm suddenly not in the mood. I'm not sure how to change that attitude. I come to view my to-do list as a burden instead of a helpful tool.
Due to some credit shenanigans, our budget is tight this month. Hopefully that will help motivate me to make use of the activities around my house that require no money. It drives me nuts that I buy things and don't use them right away. What's up with that?? I know part of it is that I might as well get "x" while I'm thinking of it so that when I'm ready to start the project, I already have what I need. But it still irks me to see stuff sitting around not being used for its intended purpose.
