I have realized that one of my problems in tackling my to do list is... my to do list. I have a couple of lists of projects scattered around and they are quite lengthy. I get so overwhelmed by the sheer number of things I need to accomplish that I don't do anything. Sometimes I even make a new list.
This is madness!
Nassir suggested taking a short view and tackling one thing at a time. I think he's entirely right. (It's amazing how often I discover that he's right these days; it's like learning to appreciate my parents' wisdom all over again. Ooh maturity...) Anyway, so by taking on a reasonable task for the amount of time available, I will actually start accomplishing things. I may not be crossing items off a to do list, but I will have real results instead of broken dreams and unfulfilled wishes.

Hey Christine! Have you ever checked out Fly Babies? THey have a board on ivillage... it's an interesting look at getting organized and cleaning. I like it, you should take a look. I'm in the process of simplifying my life. I'm getting rid of everything I don't need. I just finished a project where I condensed my cd's and dvd's into a tiny little box. I will eventually post a thread on Ryan's blog about it... I'm loving it :)
And, I wanted to tell you Bit's 1st Birthday invite was great! Your cutout was very impressive, those are hard to do! You should get into that stuff, you would be great at it.
Susan
Thanks, Susan! Now I'm curious about this little box you mentioned.
I'd love to be an awesome graphic designer, but even if I had the time (and I DON'T, believe me) I just don't have the eye for it that you and Sophie and others do.
